Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to safeguard enterprise networks and systems from evolving threats. In this role, you will collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams to monitor security events, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents.
ResponsibilitiesPerform vulnerability scanning, analysis, and remediation tracking.Support incident response, threat hunting, and risk assessments.Ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST, CMMC, and ISO.Monitor security events and manage vulnerabilities across systems.Collaborate with various teams to uphold security standards.Essential Skills2–5 years in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or vulnerability management.Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanning tools.Knowledge of networking, Linux/Windows administration, and secure architectures.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GCIA, or CEH.Experience with regulatory frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or ISO.Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
