CMM Quality Engineer
Description Our client, a tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking a QUALITY ENGINEER who excels in leadership decision-making and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization. To help drive excellence, you’ll be: · Responsible for ensuring products produced meet customer quality standards. · Responsible for the plant’s CMM function · Conduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed dimensional requirement of the customer. · Train and support groups of shop floor associates with quality assurance. Experience needed: Associates/Technical Degree Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a QE, preferably in a metal’s environment or equivalent experience. Solid experience in calibration methods and use of measuring tools Minimum of two years CMM experience Great root cause problem solving abilities Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills Skills cmm, cmm programming, cmm inspection, cmm operation, capability studies, Quality engineering, Quality assurance, Root cause analysis Top Skills Details cmm,cmm programming,cmm inspection,cmm operation,capability studies Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have: - 2+ years in an automotive quality engineer position. - 2+ years of CMM experience used on fixtures, dies, gauges, and/or products. Nice to have: - Experience in a metal's environment Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
