Job Title: CMM Program Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our clients manufacturing team. This role involves the creation and transition of dimensional inspection plans using Zeiss Calypso software, working closely with engineering to ensure precise testing procedures and certification methods.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software from Model Based Definition and 2D drawings.Create and import dimensional inspection plans accordingly as well as transitioning from Excel files.Collaborate with engineering to analyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specific testing procedures and certification methods.Utilize PiWeb for process familiarization, system debugging, coding, and collaboration with Zeiss for facilitation as needed.Read and understand complex mechanical drawings and 3D models.Work closely with Engineering Departments on related issues.Essential SkillsProficiency in Metrology, Zeiss Calypso software, and CMM.Experience with Calipers, Micrometers, Surface Gauges, and Height Gauges.Ability to analyze complex mechanical drawings and 3D models.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
