Kforce has a client seeking a CM in Davie, FL. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of roadway construction projects from pre-construction to final acceptance * Serve as the technical expert for all construction engineering and inspection (CEI) tasks, ensuring compliance with FDOT standards, project specifications, and safety regulations * Oversee contractor performance and field staff to ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met * Review and approve engineering design plans, construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and change orders * Manage the implementation of construction phasing, erosion control, storm drainage systems, roadway alignments, and utility coordination * Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and project progress; resolve field conflicts and design discrepancies * Provide leadership in the preparation and review of project schedules, cost estimates, progress reports, and final close-out documentation * Liaise with Tribal departments (Public Works, Environmental/Water Resource, Housing, Real Estate, Construction Management, etc.), BIA, and external agencies to ensure project alignment and permit compliance * Develop and implement construction QA/QC protocols to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed technical expectations * Support the training, mentoring, and development of junior engineers, inspectors, and construction managers within the department * Maintain proactive communication with Tribal leadership, community members, and project stakeholders to address concerns and report on progress
