\n\nWhat will I be doing? As a Cluster Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Executive, you are responsible for selling Groups and Events for cluster properties Hilton The Hague, Hilton Rotterdam, and Doubletree Royal Parc Soestduinen.
\n\nThe work location is in Hilton Rotterdam, but you are expected travel to The Hague and Soestduinen sporadically\nWorking hours are usually from 09:00 – 17:00 and from Monday to Friday. This can vary sometimes depending on events, and starting/finishing an hour earlier or later could be discussed\n\nFurthermore, you are involved in:
\n\nHandling the Groups and Event selling process until the contract stage\nBeing responsible for the communication and active follow-up with the guest\nEnsuring a smooth handover of the contracted groups\nCreating opportunities to maximize revenue and add value to the booking\nFacilitating appointments and site inspections with the guests if needed\nEnsuring clear and detailed communication with the involved departments\nParticipating proactively in selling activities such as Bring Back Old Business, key prospects, Sales Blitz Days\nConsistently updating the information in the system\nConducting after-sales conversations to get feedback on the event experience of the client and identify future business potential\nWhat we are looking for? Are you proactive and detail-oriented? We are looking for a sales-oriented and hands-on Sales Executive with superb communication skills. Furthermore, the following would describe you:
\n\n1-2 years of hotel experience in other positions\nEnjoying supporting the operational departments in the implementation of events if necessary\nA commercial mindset with strong sales, administrative, and organizational capabilities\nEager to learn, a positive mindset and strong communication skills\nCommitment to providing high-level service\nFluency in English; Dutch is an advantage\nLiving in the area of Rotterdam\nIn possession of the right documents to work in the Netherlands\n\nEven greater if you have:
\n\nKnowledge of the hotel property management systems such as Delphi Fdc, OnQ R&I, and OnQ PM.\nPrevious working experience within Hilton Worldwide hotels.\nDegree in a related field.\n\n\n
