Cluster General Manager – Hilton Chania & Chania Flair Boutique Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton                  Location: Chania, Crete, Greece

About the Hotels:

Hilton Chania (opening May 2026): A seafront, five‑star luxury hotel with 85 rooms, each featuring a private pool. Positioned as a premium product within Hilton’s portfolio, it will offer indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, fitness centre, conference & meeting space and five dining outlets. The hotel overlooks the sea and includes on‑site luxury retail outlets.Chania Flair Boutique Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. A lifestyle hotel with 34 rooms over five floors and two restaurants. This boutique property features a wellness & fitness area, rooftop terrace and delivers an urban‑chic guest experience aligned with Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.

Together, these hotels operate year‑round and will offer 119 rooms & suites, multiple F&B venues, retail outlets and conference facilities.

Position Summary: 

We seek an experienced Cluster General Manager to lead these two Hilton hotels in Chania. You will oversee the pre‑opening and launch of the five‑star Hilton Chania while maintaining the high standards of the lifestyle‑oriented Chania Flair. This role demands a hands on, visible leader who can drive profitability, guest satisfaction and team engagement across both properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Commercial Leadership: Implement commercial plans, budgets and forecasts; maximise revenue and profit across both hotels.Operational Management: Oversee daily hotel operations, ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, and champion safety and sustainability.Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and develop department heads and team members; promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the two hotels.Guest & Community Engagement: Maintain a strong presence in the hotels and the local community; build relationships with guests, local businesses and stakeholders; showcase the hotels’ F&B and conference facilities.Stakeholder & Owner Relations: Communicate effectively with owners and executive team, providing insights and strategic direction; represent the hotels at industry and community events.







Work Experience

What We are Looking For:

Extensive experience as a General Manager in upscale or luxury hotels & ideal urban resorts, with exposure to both city and leisure oriented properties.Proven ability to manage hotel openings and pre‑opening phases.Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and proficiency in budget management.Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire diverse teams and build strong relationships.Hands‑on, guest‑centric approach with a flair for public relations and community engagement.Proven ability to create memorable guest experiences, actively engage with customers, and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.Understanding of seasonal dynamics in tourist destinations and year‑round operations.Fluency in Greek, English and German preferred.
