Job Description

Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites are looking for a Cluster General Manager to lead multiple teams across a portfolio of properties, including Cairns, Townsville and Port Douglas.

In this pivotal role, you will bring strategic vision, operational expertise, and a people-first mindset to drive commercial success and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Senior Hotel Management and will lead by example and empower their teams to achieve success. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

Oversee day-to-day profitability, presentation and operations of multiple propertiesPlay a crucial role in coaching, developing and managing the property teams to achieve their highest potentialAnalyse data to drive revenue, improve RevPAR, and reduce operational costsMaintain accountability for the overall efficiency and performance of the propertiesManage body corporate and guest relations while maintaining compliance with brand, safety, and sustainability standards

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

Extensive experience in multi-property or senior hotel managementDemonstrated financial acumen, with a strong focus on driving revenueStrategic business acumen and commercial realityA proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expensesDemonstrated achievement in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching and developmentPassion for innovation, operational excellence, and guest satisfactionClear and confident communication, both written and verbalCommitted to continuous improvement and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
