As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for: + Providing direct & exceptional customer support to address their technical inquiries and challenges. + Resolving technical issues - serving as an SME on both products and support processes. + Owning incident response. **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Have experience working directly with customers in a technical support engineer capacity. + Understand fundamental customer support principles, including customer effort reduction, issue ownership, and intra-team communication. + Possess a good understanding of: virtual machines, Kubernetes, distributed storage, networking, Linux administration. + Demonstrate understanding of networks, DNS, Routing, Load balancing, Firewalls, and key protocols like HTTP, SSL/TLS and TCP/IP. + Demonstrate ability to communicate professionally with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders + Demonstrate aptitude for building trusted relationships with customers and team members + Have experience troubleshooting networking issues using standard tools like MTR, tcpdump, and nmap. **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
