AIODP organization's mission, in liaison with DP in Europe,  is to deliver to Airbus Business a single & harmonized set of IS/IT tools for the development of the Aircraft. The mission of this organization  is to  lead the development, the implementation, the maintenance and the support of the PLM toolset to all Airbus programs in line with the corporate strategy as requested by Programs, CoE and CoC. 

The job holder will work in the frame of the Coreall Move to Cloud Team.

Airbus is looking for an AWS Cloud Specialist with development abilities  to join in Bangalore, India, to design IS/IT Architectures, implement, support feasibility studies & services on Cloud for PLM Business Data Analytics.

The job holder is expected to have : 

Ability to understand the shift cloud computing introduced and how to capitalize on the benefits that cloud adoption brings. This implies changes in different axis such as definition and architecture of needed cloud based services to secure maximum business added value, procurement and cost management of those services, and ways of working/collaborating for developing and operating applications/solutions

Ability to master components and subcomponents required for cloud computing (front & back end platforms, cloud based delivery, network). From cloud strategy through cloud application design and cloud management and monitoring, it implies very good knowledge of operating systems, networking and programming languages. An obvious link is also made with security, so a high-level understanding of key security concepts is a must

 

Qualification & Experience: 

Graduate with 4-6 years of experience in Cloud Platform development.

Strong experience with AWS Enterprise Cloud platform deployments at scale.

Excellent knowledge on AWS services like lambda, RDS,S3, Stepfunctions, IAM, VPC,KMS, EC2, DynamoDB, SQS etc.

Strong Coding abilities in Python,and deploying resources with AWS CDK. Hands-on experience with Data libraries like Pandas, Polars, DuckDB, Pyspark will be an added advantage.

Proven experience in building scalable APIs using cloud services..

Good knowledge in database platforms preferably MsSQL or any SQL platforms.

Working knowledge with Linux based systems will be an added advantage

Experience setting up AWS Cloud  Platform though AWS CloudFormation Stacks or AWS CDK stacks

Experience in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenShift) .

Track record of successfully building scalable Data Lake solutions that connect to distributed data storage using multiple data connectors.

Experience in designing, developing, optimizing and troubleshooting complex Data Pipelines using Python data libraries along with serverless services like AWS Stepfunctions, Lambda, DynamodDB, ECS etc. 

Ability to lead proofs-of-concepts and then effectively transition and scale those concepts into production at scale through engineering, deployment and commercialization.

Strong understanding of networking, systems architecture, and micro-services architecture. 

Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices.

Serve as an expert; envision and integrate emerging data technologies, anticipate new trends to solve complex business and technical problems.

Working knowledge in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects.

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy Data Pipelines to assist Move to Cloud Project using AWS CDK

Take ownership of inhouse build python libraries to enhance the efficiency of Data Pipelines

Manage Cloud resources for the optimum performance

Support feasibility studies to extend existing legacy applications to AWS cloud

Expose data by building secure and efficient APIs running on Cloud

Scalability Benchmarking of PLM Business Data Analytics  Applications (Costs/Performance)

Design and implement the automated infrastructure of the Airbus Public Cloud Platforms via highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services 

Implement container solutions taking into account IT security aspects

Support problem solving and the operational availability  of the applications on Airbus Public Cloud Platform

Optimize resources utilization while guaranteeing applications performance and reliability 

Own incidents, problems, changes related to the Cloud Services.

Work in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development
