About this opportunity:
As a Cloud Solution Architect in the Platform Center of Excellence, you will translate high-level architectural visions into actionable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. This role bridges strategic design with hands-on implementation, ensuring alignment across architecture, security, and platform engineering.
What you will do:
Architectural Translation: Break down high-level designs from the Chief Platform Architect and Security Architect into detailed, executable cloud architecture.Cross-Architect Collaboration: Work closely with other architects to ensure cohesive and compliant solution designs.Technical Leadership: Guide platform engineers, offering technical direction, mentoring, and support during implementation.Design Ownership: Create and maintain high- and low-level design documentation, ensuring traceability to business and security requirements.Governance & Review: Lead or contribute to design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, security policies, and operational best practices.
The skills you bring:
Cloud Architecture: Deep expertise in cloud-native design (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP/AWS/Azure; GCP preferred), container orchestration (e.g., GKE)Security Integration: Strong understanding of IAM, secrets management, workload isolation, and secure CI/CD practices.Systems Thinking: Ability to design end-to-end solutions that are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient.Communication: Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse stakeholders.Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Nice to have skills:
