The Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced cloud software developer to join our agile team. In this exciting role, you'll focus on developing virtualized environments for electronic warfare embedded systems (EW) using AWS. You'll have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge cloud technologies and services in a flexible work environment. Ideal for mid-career professionals looking to expand their skills in cloud development and/or embedded systems virtualization.

This is a onsite role with our team working from any of the following office locations: Chantilly, VA; Fairfax, VA; Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop virtualized environments for embedded systems using AWS servicesImplement and maintain cloud-based solutions for embedded system virtualizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsOptimize performance and scalability of virtualized environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the cloud infrastructure


Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or any other relevant field is required.Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the field is required.Intermediate to advanced experience with OOP languages such as C++/Java.Intermediate to advanced Linux development experience.Experience with the Atlassian suite (git, Jira, Confluence, etc.)There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you may be required to obtain the clearance required by the program.US Citizen


Desired:

Experience with AWS and applicable certificationsIntermediate to advance understanding of DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, and Linux network stacks.Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies.Familiarity with RF centric systems. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
