Linux Senior Associate
About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Senior Associate to join our Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering team. In this role, you'll work with a dynamic group of engineers to build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure. You'll play a key part in managing Linux-based systems, developing automation scripts, and working within cloud environments—primarily AWS.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in cloud infrastructure and a desire to deepen their experience with modern DevOps tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, deploy and maintain Linux-based server environmentsDevelop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system operationsSupport the deployment and management of containerized and non-containerized applicationsWork within AWS and other cloud environments to provision, configure, and maintain cloud servicesCollaborate with team members to improve system reliability and performanceMonitoring, Patching and Backup of Linux systemsHandle support cases in an on-call environment

Required Technical Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems administrationAssess, plan, designs, implements, configure, and manage Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RedHat, and CentOS)Resolve system issues and addressing change requestsEstablish security measures, monitor system performance, and perform troubleshootingImplement and manage backup and recoveryExperience in virtual server implementation and supportProficient in Bash scripting for automationMinimum 1 year of cloud or virtualization experienceMinimum 1 year on-call and technical support experience

Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills

Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for container orchestrationFamiliarity with networking and firewall concepts (TCP/IP, Subnetting, VPN, DNS, gateways, and routing)Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible along with other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsFamiliarity with AWS or Azure cloud environmentsLPIC Essentials or higher
