How you will create impact:We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Remediation Engineer to join our Cloud practice. This role will be responsible for analyzing, prioritizing, and remediating security risks across our cloud infrastructure environments, as well as implementing effective security controls, addressing vulnerabilities, and ensuring AIG cloud environments meet compliance standards and industry best practices. Reporting to the Cloud Security Remediation Lead, this position will play an important role in maintaining a secure cloud environment at scale.
Remediate security findings from CSPM, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence platforms across AIG cloud environments.Collaborate with ISO organization in creating the Attack Paths and identifying the misconfigurations.Implement baseline compliance standards across all the foundationsCollaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and security gaps.Develop and implement automated security remediation solutions using scripting or orchestration tools.Implement proactive scripts for identification and reporting of issues.Work closely with the Architecture teams to define the security postures and test them in the lower environmentsCreate the SCP policies and maintain the drift across the foundationCreate Azure policies and remediate the findings across the platformDefine and work on Least privilege resource policy to reduce the risk exposureWork closely with the SRT team to ensure that any new vulnerabilities and risks are identified and mitigated accordinglyWork with gCDC team for remediating or clarifying any issues identified across the foundationTrack remediation progress and produce reports on compliance status and trends.Contribute to security playbook, runbooks, and documentation to improve operational efficiency.Recommend and implement improvements to cloud security remediation.What you'll need to succeed:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security remediationStrong working knowledge of AWS and Azure, and associated security servicesExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and configuration managementProficient in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShellFamiliarity with security compliance standards and frameworksHands-on experience with vulnerability management and cloud native security toolsCloud security certification preferredExtensive knowledge on IAM resource policiesHands-on experience with Prisma CloudExcellent problems solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environmentReady to take your career to the next level?
