Cloud Intake & Assessment Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * **Overview:** The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program is seeking a Cloud Intake & Assessment Analyst to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG). This role serves as a key bridge between mission stakeholders and cloud engineering teams, ensuring efficient onboarding of cloud projects, evaluation of technical readiness, and alignment with enterprise cloud governance policies. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cloud fundamentals, intake workflows, and federal compliance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** + Serve as the first point of contact for USCG mission owners seeking to adopt cloud services (AWS/Azure). + Facilitate intake assessments for new cloud workload requests, gathering functional, security, and compliance requirements. + Conduct technical readiness assessments and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper documentation, prioritization, and approval workflows. + Collaborate with cloud engineering, ICAM, security, and networking teams to provide tailored guidance on cloud adoption and onboarding. + Maintain intake dashboards, status trackers, and intake request pipelines using tools such as SharePoint, ServiceNow, JIRA, or Power BI. + Translate mission needs into technical briefs and intake forms, aligned with USCG’s cloud strategy and Zero Trust architecture goals. + Perform gap analyses on current requests to identify missing security controls, architecture documentation, or compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, IL4/IL5). + Support the development and continuous improvement of the USCG Cloud Onboarding Guide, RACI charts, and governance templates. + Provide customer support throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle, including documenting lessons learned and recommending process improvements. + Interface with program leadership to generate reports, metrics, and intake summaries for DHS/USCG oversight bodies. **Required Qualifications:** + Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Public Trust. + 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, systems analysis, business process, or IT project management within a federal or DoD environment. + Familiarity with public cloud services (AWS, Azure) and federal cloud compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53). + Experience facilitating technical requirements gathering sessions with engineers and stakeholders. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing leadership and writing intake reports. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel. + Experience with intake management or workflow tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Smartsheet). **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience supporting cloud onboarding in IL4/IL5 or FedRAMP-High environments. + Understanding of ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management), RBAC, and cloud policy integration. + Familiarity with enterprise cloud governance, project portfolio management (PPM), and Zero Trust strategy. + AWS or Azure foundational certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900). + Experience supporting USCG, DHS, or other federal agencies. + Knowledge of Agile or SAFe practices for intake and backlog grooming. - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
