Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Financial Analyst to join our team and lead efforts in optimizing cloud expenditures and driving financial efficiency across our Azure environments. This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, analyze cloud economics, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize cloud costs to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize return on investment.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support cloud strategy and decision-making.

Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and reports related to cloud expenditures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud financial strategies with business objectives.

Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in cloud economics.

Communicate complex financial concepts and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and financial best practices in cloud architecture.

Stay updated with the latest developments in cloud technology and financial management.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience with financial analysis related to IT programs

Bachelor's Degree.

Additional Qualifications

Strong financial acumen with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proven research skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial insights and recommendations.

Solid understanding of cloud architecture, particularly Azure, and its financial implications.

Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.

Proficiency in financial modeling and use of financial management tools.

Relevant certifications in cloud computing or financial management are a plus.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience in cloud cost management and optimization.

Familiarity with Azure cost management tools and services.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$81,094.00 - $137,860.00
