We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting Google as a **Cloud Engineer** **Job Summary** We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud SQL and BigQuery with a preference for those with experience in the Media and Entertainment domain. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The position operates during day shifts. **Responsibilities** + Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Cloud SQL and BigQuery to meet business requirements. + Optimize and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable cloud applications. + Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime. + Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on cloud best practices. + Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes. + Ensure security and compliance standards are met for all cloud solutions. + Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. + Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud resources. + Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. + Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. + Assist in the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud engineering practices. **Qualifications** + Must have strong experience with Cloud SQL and BigQuery. + Should have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant experience. + Nice to have experience in the Media and Entertainment domain. + Must be proficient in cloud infrastructure design and implementation. + Should have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Must be able to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model. + Should have a good understanding of cloud security and compliance standards. + Must be able to automate tasks using scripting languages. + Should have strong communication and documentation skills. + Must be able to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies. + Should have experience in performance tuning and capacity planning. + Must be able to provide technical support and guidance to teams. + Should be able to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
