Cloud Engineer
Provide technical leadership to the team to be a steward of the AFI messaging platforms for both existing solutions and new cloud first solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Support application migration to, and development in, the cloud by provisioning accounts and subscriptions, services, access, and infrastructure as code pipelines.Consult on, plan and execute straightforward cloud migrations.Analyze logs, telemetry, and system configuration, and interface with cloud provider's support services to determine root cause of issues and recommend and implement fixes.Validate cloud configuration and share knowledge with application development and operations teams.Design and implement cloud services that comply with the organization's security and technology standards. #LI_DNI


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.3+ years of relevant work experience required.2+ years engineering and integration experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).Demonstrated understanding of foundational technologies such as IAM, core IaaS services (compute, storage, networking).Strong analytical and customer service abilities.High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments. 1+ years relevant experience engineering enterprise RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).


Preferred Qualifications

AWS Associate (Developer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator).1+ years' experience with scripting and automation technologies and demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration tasks.1+ years' experience with infrastructure as code technologies such as CloudFormation, Terraform.Experience using source code management systems, such as Git or SVN.Experience using automation orchestration tools, such as Jenkins or Ansible.Implementation\architectural experience in Performance Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, Database Farm concepts.Programming Language: Python, PowerShell, Unix Shell.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $112,200 - $150,000 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
