Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone with 7+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience who can lead cloud initiatives, optimize infrastructure, and ensure reliability across mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)

Implement automation for provisioning, configuration management, and deployments (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)

Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and scalability

Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements

Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support application delivery in cloud environments

Drive cost optimization strategies and resource utilization best practices

Stay current with AWS services, emerging cloud technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

7+ years of cloud engineering or infrastructure experience, with extensive AWS expertise

Strong knowledge of networking (VPC, DNS, load balancing, security groups, firewalls)

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)

Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
