What You'll Do at Pega: Design, build and operate highly available, scalable cloud-deployments using Java, Golang and AWS/GCP cloud servicesWork with Product Owners and other stakeholders along with the team members to design and document new Pega Cloud featuresDesign and execute unit, integration, and API testsLeverage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated operations of our servicesAssist our operations team with sophisticated operations along the entire service lifecycle

 

Who You Are: You are an effective communicator and collaborator, demonstrating autonomy and initiative at work. You also have:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field2+ years of experience in ITGood command of English

•    Solid knowledge of one or more general purpose programming language including, but not limited to: Java or Python
•    Cloud Knowledge is necessary (AWS cloud skills preferred)
•    Knowledge of Unix systems along with container technologies (Docker)
It would be an asset if you have experience with or knowledge of the following:
•    Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Helm/Terraform/CloudFormation)
•    DevOps + Agile + MVP methodologies
•    CKA (certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification
•    Knowledge of networking
•    Observability (Grafana)
