As part of this team, you will be tasked with building out Pega Cloud’s GenAI capabilities, as well as ensuring manageability of core backing services like Kafka, MongoDB, and OpenSearch. You will be the bridge between Pega Platform and the Cloud it runs upon.

Our Pega Cloud team is distributed globally with three major technology centers in the US, in the EU and in India.

 

What You'll Do at Pega: Develop tooling supporting management of Kafka, MongoDB, and OpenSearch clusters,Work daily with Go, Java, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker,Work within Scrum, DevOps, and MVP frameworks,Continuously improve, refine, and refactor the code base and configuration tools.

 

Who You Are:

You are an effective communicator and collaborator. Also, you demonstrate initiative and autonomy at work.

 

What You've Accomplished: At least 1 year of experience in software designing and development,Familiarity with at least one of Go, Java, or Python,Hands on experience with basic DevOps automation and pipeline tools,Understanding of Docker or other container engines,Very good command of English.

It will be great, but not required if you have familiarity with:

AWS Cloud, GCP, Azure or similar,Basic concepts of Infrastructure as a Code principles (Terraform),Kafka, MongoDB, and OpenSearch,Cloud Operations good practices,Microservices and Stateless Architecture,DevOps + Agile + MVP methodologies,Quality oriented mindset.
