With the power to apply artificial intelligence and data science to business decisions via enterprise data management solutions, we help leading companies prototype, refine, validate, and scale the most desirable products and delivery models to enterprise scale within weeks. **Role:** **Cloud Data Architect** **Location:** Hartford, CT. **Roles and responsibilities:** + Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions to support business objectives. + Oversee the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards. + Guide in Big Data technologies to optimize data processing and storage. + Develop and implement data transformation scripts to facilitate seamless data integration. + Apply Azure Services to improve data management and analytics capabilities. + Create data visualization tools to present complex data in an accessible format. + Ensure data integration and access processes are efficient and secure. + Apply design patterns to create scalable and maintainable data solutions. + Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs. + Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and reliability. + Offer mentorship on standard methodologies for data management and governance. + Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve data architecture - Support the development of data strategies to drive business growth. **Required Qualifications:** + 15 years of experience. + Expertise in Azure Tech stack, Databricks, Pyspark, Big Data, Data Governance & Compliance, Data Transform Scripting Lang, Data Architect, Azure Services, Data visualization skills, Data Integration & Access, and Design Patterns. + Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. **Salary and Other Compensation** **:** Applications will be accepted until May 25, 2025 The annual salary for this position is between $ 88,200 - $ 161,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
