Cloud Close and Reporting Analyst
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience. + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA). + 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance. + Experience in US GAAP accounting principles and with revenue accounting (ASC 606) in a public accounting or multinational company setting. + Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Preferred qualifications: + Experience in building financial dashboards and visualizing data. + Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams. + Ability to have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement. + Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management. + Intermediate or advanced SQL skills, coupled with a passion for leveraging data analytics to drive insights. + Proven track record in public accounting or project managing internal and external audits for large, multinational organizations with complex revenue recognition processes. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Expand and enhance revenue reporting capabilities to seamlessly integrate and accommodate incremental parts of Google Cloud as the business evolves. + Develop insightful financial dashboards and reports that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions. + Navigate complex datasets and solve non-routine accounting challenges, and identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, understanding their needs and providing financial insights to support their strategic goals. + Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and providing valuable insights to management, and collaborate on the development and maintenance of robust accounting controls and documentation.
