Senior Cloud Architect 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Ensures overall design of multi-cloud platform fits company IT landscapeEnsures solutions are in line with company security and compliance regulations and cloud best practices Give guidance how to transform on-prem applications into cloud nativePlan migrations from on-prem to cloudIdentifies, verifies and remediates inconsistent cloud configurationsMaintain and enhance technical documentationAdvise Head of Cloud Unit and Hyperscalers Product Owners in regards of technical aspects, new trends and Cloud Platform development strategySupports FinOps team to optimize cloud costsFacilitate removal of technical debt in legacy solutionsSeek opportunities to discover new and better solutions. Communicates basic cloud concepts to technical audiences and management; technical issues and problems to vendors to solve cloud problems Maintain good relationship with stakeholders and consumers Manage holistic picture of Cloud Unit Capabilities and give guidance to translate into individual product needs.Identify and pursue opportunities for self-improvement of technical and non-technical skills Take the initiative to do what needs to be done without being askedArticulate and advocate new cloud technical and non-technical ideas

Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience as a software engineerMinimum 4 years of Azure (GCP and/or AWS will be a plus)Experience with “Well-Architected Framework” principals, infrastructure as code practices (e.g. Terraform) and agile development methodologiesExperience with cloud native solutions as well as migration to the cloudWorking knowledge of DevOps and GitOps principles and practices. Inter-cultural understanding and experienceStrong communication, problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to deal with ambiguity while working in a continually changing environment under indirect supervisionShow a general understanding of cloud technologies, cloud platform operations and cloud governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification, cost optimization and interoperability of cloud services
