**Introduction** India Systems Development Lab (ISDL) is part of IBM Systems world-wide technology development lab. While computing veers towards cognitive, cloud, mobile, social, and security, the lab has significantly contributed to not just new products focused in these areas, but has also ushered in new development models such as Agile, Design Thinking and DevOps. **Your role and responsibilities** IBM Cloud® Paks provide AI-powered software designed to accelerate application modernization with pre-integrated data, automation and security capabilities. Our software delivers a comprehensive and unified hybrid cloud platform experience, enabling business and IT teams to build and modernize applications faster across any cloud or IT infrastructure. Cloud Pak team on Z is responsible for enabling and maintaining Data , Integration , AIOPS and Automation cloudPaks for the s390x Linux on Z offering . Team focuses on enabling these solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, support, product managers, and engineering, to address complex technical problems from our clients, including implementations, deployments, architecture, migrations, performance, and scalability. You will be responsible for Collaborating with internal and external technical teams Defining and detailing the scope of technical requirements into solution architecture and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint. Helping to resolve Performance/Technical issues during implementations and migrations Assessing customer business challenges and offering solution to address business needs Provide guidance to customers on architecture and implementation (i.e. cloud migrations, messaging modernization, integration and data modernization,AI ) on IBM’s Cloud Paks and observability products. Review peers' solutions and designs, including architecture and integration pipeline, to offer suitable guidance for performance optimization. Assist internal teams and IT partners by suggesting solutions that minimize and/or manage risk. Automate and optimize processes as needed to configure and support use cases like migrate solutions and create secure solutions **Required technical and professional expertise** Understanding of entreprise microservices architectures and implementations Excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Experience in installing and deploying solutions to Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred) Can manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously Knowledge of hybrid-cloud software implementations, SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and cloud applications Ability to work in a high-pressure environment Ability to communicate complex solutions both verbally and in writing Ability to translate requirements and design to implementation and guide the team to delivery Hands on experience in Linux packages porting, Container technologies, Kubernetes, Dockers, Virtualization Management, REST API, Catalog Services, Micro Services,DevOps CICD Jenkins , Travis skills Experience with python/java/c programming Knowledge of Observability Solutions and tools Cloud native development and deployment.A minimum of three years of experience in designing software solutions with cloud-native computing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, containers, and Red Hat OpenShift. Abilitity to contribute and guide team in the development cycle , which includes Development, unit tests , CICD , functional and performance tests and all applicable stages. Hands-on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessions Ability to interlock, understand and engage with various senior executives of key BUs within IBM to create value prop, content and assets to drive skills, capabilities and expertise for client engagements **Preferred technical and professional experience** At least 5 years of experience in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise microservices solutions. Experience and/or knowledge of resolving Performance/Technical issues during implementations, migrations, and system assessments.
