The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for a Health Sciences Clinician-Investigator position at the Assistant Professor rank. This is a research-based position (approximately 80% research and 20% clinical/teaching). Applicants must be board certified in internal medicine and are preferred to have significant inpatient hospitalist or infectious diseases clinical experience. A California medical license and an M.D. or D.O. are required. Applicants should have a strong background and training in research and possess a track record of NIH funding or equivalent or have applications under review. Preference will be given to applicants with a research focus in global HIV or STI epidemiology, therapeutics and/or diagnostics. Teaching of students, residents, and/or fellows is required.
