The Bilingual Clinician is primarily responsible for oversight and coordination of clinical services offered to assigned clients, including assessment and the provision of individual, group and family counseling. Purpose: Job Duties / Essential Functions 1. Within the assigned caseload, provide clinical services including assessment, individual therapy and crisis intervention using appropriate approaches, techniques and interventions. 2. Provide clinical services to clients and families as required. 3. Assist in the translation of RN and MD information to clients and their families. 4. Participate in the development of individualized service plans. 5. Complete timely, effective and accurate documentation including, but not limited to, biopsychosocial and safety assessments, therapy notes and other assessments as required. 6. Make sound clinical decisions and judgments while advocating for client needs. 7. Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers and provide psychoeducation as necessary to appropriate customers. 8. Co-manage the therapeutic environment by working with team members to ensure the coordinated care of clients; Recommend program and intervention strategies and consult on client issues. Competencies: *Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement. *Two years post-graduate experience working with children / adolescents in a mental and/or behavioral health setting required; experience with major psychiatric diagnoses preferred *Licensure strongly preferred, license-eligible required. *Prior experience providing individual, group, and family counseling. *Bilingual fluency and the ability to converse and write in English and Spanish required.
