Position Summary: The Clinician provides clinical counseling and connections to additional treatment as needed for Jobs-Plus program members. What You'll Do: + Utilize a variety of psychotherapy methods and techniques to assist members experiencing psychological distress. + Explain the clinical counseling process and services to members and obtain signatures for consent. + Review and discuss with members the psychosocial assessment results. + Interview members regarding any new or changing medical and/or mental health conditions that may interfere with employability. + Review current accommodations and determine and document if there is a need to change or add new accommodations. + Provide needed direction and encouragement to support members at their initial appointments. Your Responsabilities Include: + Coordinate with the Clinical and Wellness Coordinator in diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental health issues. + Observe HIPAA compliance in all instances, including while directly servicing a participant and/or referring them out to additional services. + Explain the various outcome determinations. + Document participant services and activities in management information systems. + Enter (and scan) all appropriate data and coding to ensure accurate and complete member records and payment. + Identify operational issues and facilitate corresponding process improvements. You're a Great Fit For this Role If: + You are a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), or a licensed psychoanalyst. + You bring 5 years of clinical practice experience, preferably in medically needy and underserved communities. + Have the ability to understand and prepare budgets. + Demonstrate strong leadership through consistent, proven, and verifiable outcomes. + Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and be sensitive to maintaining confidentiality. + Highly organized and detail-oriented. + Working knowledge of technology and its application to health and human service delivery systems. + Have experience in working with public assistance recipients, formerly incarcerated individuals, and those affected by the challenges associated with poverty. + You are Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Compensation: $36.00/Hr.
