Responsibilities: Provides clinical leadership in a residential treatment program in collaboration with treatment team members. Responsible for program development and implementation and the provision of individual and group psychotherapy services as well as crisis management/stabilization services. Conducts initial and follow-up assessments as determined by individualized treatment plans and monitors progress toward treatment goals. Provides staff education and training on individual treatment needs and topics in support of the care of program participants. Develops, implements, and supports a treatment milieu designed to support the specialized treatment needs of program participants, in collaboration with other treatment team members. Provides individual, group, and family therapy treatment services. Develop a behavior support plan with behavior change/support strategies to facilitate participant success. Conduct training on behavior support plans for all staff in all disciplines involved in the individual care. Collect and analyze data to monitor the efficacy of behavior change strategies. Participate in monthly medication review meetings with the psychiatrist, primary care physician, nurse, and other treatment team members and provide data to inform the team of participant progress. Provide crisis management services which may include the facilitation of emergency psychiatric hospitalization services, when necessary, under the supervision of the Clinical Director. Complete all required documentation, monthly summaries, Biopsychosocial evaluations, wellness plans, behavior support plans, and discharge summaries. Participate in ongoing collaborative team meetings in support of participant care. Provide related counseling services identified in the IEP of residential students attending on-campus education programs. Facilitate, monitor, and document therapeutic leave in support of family reunification/community reintegration. Participate in discharge planning meetings, support the transition process, and provide any necessary documentation to facilitate community reintegration. Develop and monitor measurable objectives and data to ensure the efficacy of treatment goal implementation and delivery of service. Maintain credentials and continuing education requirements. Qualifications: Please include three professional references, medical certification, and child abuse clearance. Familiarity with evidence-based practices. Certification in select evidence-based practices is preferred. Knowledge of psychopathology and human development. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field of social services and/or working with children or adolescents. Education Clinician I Graduate degree in psychology or related discipline. Clinician II Graduate degree in psychology or related discipline. Licensed mental health professionals. License required: LPC, LCSW, LSW, Licensed Psychologist.
