The Clinician is a nurse leader dedicated to excellence in patient care. Serving as a role model in professional nursing practice, they oversee staff performance, conduct evaluations, and manage hiring. Under the Unit Director’s guidance, they provide education, training, and consultation on practice issues. The Clinician also coordinates clinical activities and may assume nursing care responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

Foster strong relationships through mentorship and positive communication, addressing cultural diversity, workplace challenges, and promoting healthy work practices. Enhance care quality by applying performance improvement tools, integrating research, and sharing best practices. Support professional development, precept students, and guide new preceptors. Align daily work with industry standards to improve patient safety and experience. Apply nursing expertise, critical thinking, and effective communication to meet patient and family needs. Drive clinical improvements, support staff transitions, and actively participate in shared leadership while overseeing evaluations and onboarding processes.
