Job Overview

Clinical Trial Educators (CTEs) collaborate with research staff and other stakeholders to drive trial recruitment and support study-specific training needs. The CTE acts as a strategic partner to both external and internal stakeholders to optimize the site experience and performance. They lead relationship management and communication of medical and scientific information with healthcare providers and caregivers. This is a fixed-term opportunity for 1 year contract.

Essential FunctionsWorks with research sites to develop study-specific action plans to accelerate recruitment or support study-specific procedure trainingProvides education to healthcare professionals and their staff, reinforcing study protocols as related to a clinical trialMay partner with referral networks to identify potential subjects for a trialMaintains and analyzes customer records to customize strategies to maximize pre-screening, screening, and enrollment in trialsCompletes internal electronic reporting systems; organizes and holds group events to optimize program deliverySuccessfully manages objections raisedMaintains up-to-date technical knowledge of specialty and disease areas

QualificationsBachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Health Sciences or related field, or equivalent academic/professional qualificationsRegistered Nurse or other healthcare professional required1–2 years of prior relevant experienceClinical competence in relevant therapeutic areaExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including good command of EnglishAbility to execute tasks with minimal oversightAbility to coordinate and complete activities across multiple functionsSolutions-based approach to problem-solvingPositive, can-do attitudeStrong customer service orientationCollaborative mindset and team playerHigh flexibility to travelDemonstrates empathy and awareness of cultural differencesUpholds the values of IQVIA and the CTE group
