Job Description Summary
The Second-Year Osteopathic Medical Student (OMS II) Teaching Assistant (TA) position enhances the foundational clinical and osteopathic manipulative skills of first-year osteopathic medical students (OMS I). OMS II TAs achieve this by providing direct, hands-on assistance and reinforcement of concepts within the Primary Clinical Skills (PCS) course, specifically for Formative Observed Simulated Clinical Encounters (FOSCEs) and Observed Simulated Clinical Encounters (OSCEs). Additionally, TAs support OMS I students in mastering Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) lab skills and preparing for practical exams.
