Clinical Supervisor RN - Infusion Center
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Does not require going to SRNC per Kim York **Job Title:** Clinical Supervisor RN **Location:** Trinity Health – Grand Rapids, MI **Department:** Infusion Center **Reports To:** Practice Leader **Job Summary:** Trinity Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Clinical Supervisor RN** to oversee the daily operations of an infusion center. This role is responsible for supervising a clinical care team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting operational excellence in collaboration with the Practice Leader and Operations Director. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Registered Nurse with strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise and evaluate clinical staff including Registered Nurses and support personnel. + Manage daily patient care assignments, staffing schedules, and resource allocation. + Ensure adequate inventory of equipment and supplies. + Collaborate with Practice Leader and Operations Director on hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development. + Facilitate patient flow and resolve operational issues within the practice. + Serve as a clinical expert and mentor for staff development and education. + Support quality improvement initiatives and customer service strategies. + Participate in shared governance and Magnet designation activities. + Maintain compliance with Trinity Health nursing standards and professional practice model. + Communicate effectively across departments and with medical staff and vendors. **Qualifications:** **Education:** + **Required:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) + **Preferred:** Master’s degree in nursing **Licensure/Certification:** + **Required:** Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan. Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy certificate + **Preferred:** OCN. Specialty certification as applicable **Experience:** + **Required:** Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with similar patient populations + **Preferred:** Experience in staff supervision, education, and clinical operations in a complex healthcare environment. **Skills & Abilities:** + Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills + Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities + Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting + Proficiency with standard desktop applications and clinical software systems **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs. and operate patient movement equipment + Frequent standing, bending, and walking; occasional sitting and squatting + Visual acuity and communication skills necessary for patient assessment and documentation + Ability to work under stress and in emotionally challenging situations **Why Join Us?** At Trinity Health, we are committed to providing compassionate care and fostering a culture of excellence.
