POSITION SUMMARY
Makes requested referral appointments; monitors clinicians’ appointment schedules; schedules follow up appointments and all requested clinical studies; performs required insurance related duties; answers telephones; determines the nature of the patient’s call and provides requested information or schedules an appointment for the patient to see the appropriate physician/ health care provider; schedules colonoscopies and endoscopies per protocol; consistently demonstrates positive and constructive interactions with patients, co-workers, and all other internal and external customers; consistently participates as a positive and constructive team member, with flexibility in schedule and workload as needed; shares information and serves as a resource to co-workers with training, trouble-shooting and problem solving as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or the equivalent
Experience: Prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
Salary: Min: $17.00, Mid: $21.68, Max: $26.35
