The Clinical Scheduling Specialist (CSS) in Pediatric Oncology will represent the “first impression” a patient has of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and the Jimmy Fund Clinic (JFC).
As the first point of contact, this role is critical to a patient’s experience and entry into the DFCI system. CSS are responsible for all aspects of phone triage and administrative support for aspects of patient care within the JFC. They provide superior customer service to all JFC patients, family members, physicians, and staff at all times in accordance with the DFCI Customer Service Standards.
The CSS role is essential to institute operations, simultaneously working with multiple disease centers and serving as the primary triage point for connecting patients with the most appropriate group to meet their needs. As a liaison for incoming calls, this role requires excellent customer service skills and comfort with multitasking and problem-solving.
This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week onsite. The selected candidate must live and work from one of the New England states (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT)

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma requiredA Bachelor’s Degree in health administration or related field is strongly preferred, and/or a minimum of 1 year of related health care and/or customer service experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
