Job Description
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our client's Cardiac Cath Lab, starting your day by checking emails and communicating with study sponsors. You will use EPIC to review charts and screen patients for their appointments, which begin at 9 AM, with preparation starting as early as 7 AM. Your responsibilities include approaching qualifying patients, coordinating with physicians, conducting screenings, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing multiple device studies.
ResponsibilitiesWork in the Cardiac Cath Lab and coordinate with physicians.Use EPIC for reviewing patient charts and screening for appointments.Conduct patient screenings involving walks, blood tests, blood pressure checks, consent processes, and medication reviews.Schedule follow-up appointments at 30, 60, 90, and 120-day intervals.Approach and enroll 1-2 patients a day for device studies.Manage up to 30 patients across multiple studies, serving as a primary coordinator for at least 4 studies and a backup for others.Collaborate with the regulatory coordinator for data management, including charting and transferring data to the EDC.Required SkillsProficiency in cardiology, clinical research, chart review, pre-screening patients, and patient recruitment.A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or clinical research, with a preference for Cardiac Cath Lab experience.At least 2 years of RN experience and a valid RN license.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
