Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
This role focuses on coordinating clinical research in both cardiovascular and oncology areas. Candidates must have 1–2 years of prior research coordination experience, with a preference for those who have taken full responsibility in previous roles. Frequent use of EPIC is required.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate industry-sponsored trials in oncology and cardiology.
+ Conduct regulatory tasks, including IRB submissions.
+ Manage sponsor correspondence, excluding budget and contracting.
+ Oversee the informed consent process.
+ Schedule standard-of-care procedures.
+ Ensure accountability for Investigational Product (IP).
+ Collaborate with local nurses for blood draws.
+ Maintain direct communication with investigators.
+ Actively manage engagement with stakeholders.
Essential Skills
+ 1–2 years of research coordination experience.
+ Frequent use of EPIC.
+ Clinical research and trial experience.
+ Knowledge of GCP, IRB, and regulatory processes.
+ Patient pre-screening and recruitment.
+ Data entry and management in EDC systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in oncology coordination is highly regarded.
+ 2-3+ years of experience leading trials is preferred for oncology.
+ Familiarity with cardiovascular research and terminology.
+ Bilingual candidates are preferred; translation services available.
+ Experience with Informed Consent Forms (ICF) and interpreter coordination is a plus.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role. The Coordinators are provided with laptops for remote work flexibility, including conducting screenings and attending meetings. The team is collaborative and mission-driven, with a patient-first approach. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
