Job Description
The position aims to provide research support for two significant studies: the NCI Cervical Cancer 'Last Mile' Initiative focused on self-collection for HPV testing to improve cervical cancer prevention, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation-funded pilot cluster randomized controlled study named 'Just ASKTM' which aims to increase cancer clinical trial participation for breast cancer patients.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the conduct of the NCI Cervical Cancer ‘Last Mile’ Initiative ‘Self-collection for HPV testing to Improve Cervical Cancer Prevention’ (SHIP) Trial.Assist in the Breast Cancer Research Foundation funded pilot cluster randomized controlled study (RCT) of ‘Just ASKTM’.Collect research evidence to inform regulatory approvals for HPV testing by self-collection for cervical cancer screening in the United States.Evaluate self-collection approaches including specific device/HPV testing assay combinations.Provide necessary instructions for use (IFU) and specimen processing steps for regulatory review.Conduct feasibility studies including recruitment and dropout rates for the pilot cluster RCT.Explore factors associated with applying the ‘Just ASKTM’ framework in the practice setting.Essential SkillsExperience in clinical research coordination and drug trials.Proficiency in IRB protocol modification and patient enrollment.Ability to screen and enroll patients in clinical trials.Familiarity with patient visit procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s Degree or equivalent from a Two Year College is required.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
