Clinical Research Associate (1year 6months)

About the department

The Clinical Development Centre (CDC) at Novo Nordisk is at the forefront of clinical research, driving all clinical development activities from trial planning to authority submission. Our team investigates patient reactions to new drugs, compares them to existing treatments, and conducts pre-specified trials in human subjects.

Our Trial Execution team ensures process alignment, competency development, and knowledge sharing across trial management and medical staff. At CDC, you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment, contributing to clinical trials that make a real difference in patients' lives.

 

The position

This position is contract-based for an 18-month period. As a Clinical Research Associate, you will:

Serve as the primary point of contact between investigational sites and Novo Nordisk. Participate in site management activities, including site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closure of clinical studies. Ensure compliance with local regulations, ICH-GCP, company procedures, and protocol requirements to safeguard data quality and study subject protection. Coordinate with Project Managers and communicate progress and critical issues that may impact trial success. Collaborate with local trial managers to address and resolve trial progress issues.

 

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or equivalent with minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a CRA. Good knowledge of ICH GCP, KGCP, and other clinical research standards and  ICH GCP training and, if applicable, certification. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in IT tools, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in written and spoken English.
