Clinical Project Manager
Job Description A leading hospital in NYC is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects that support our hospitals digital transformation. Youll work closely with clinical teams, IT, and vendors to implement and optimize Epic applications and other strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex projects. Some responsibilities include: Lead clinical IT projects from planning through execution, including Epic modules like Inpatient, Ambulatory, Radiant, and Willow Develop project plans, timelines, and documentation (SOWs, charters, lessons learned). Facilitate meetings, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery. Support change management, training, and adoption efforts across departments. Coordinate with the Enterprise and Technical PMOs to align on strategy and tools. Create and maintain project templates, trackers, and training materials. Provide consultative support and project management training to internal teams. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree (preferred in healthcare, IT, or related field). 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare or Epic environments. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and hospital operations. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com). Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or SAFe methodologies.
