Clinical Program Manager

Reports To: Clinical Director



Access to: Email, Internet, Intranet, Microsoft products, Medic



Trainings: Annual, CPI, QPRT, six (6) hours in discipline,

Heart Saver First Aid CPR/AED





Position Summary:

The Program Manager is responsible for the operation of distinct programs within established units. The Program Manager assumes responsibility for the coordinating and integrating services within the program and for realizing the goals of the program.



Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes recommendations to the unit’s Director regarding resources and programming in order to realize the program’s goals

• Supervises all program staff administratively, performs performance evaluations and makes recommendations to the Unit Director regarding training

• Assures that contracted/budgeted levels of service are achieved

• Manages the program’s budget

• Assumes direct care responsibilities as directed by the Unit Director

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to any age/disability group assigned

• Proficient in the knowledge and skills described in the core competency curriculum for each assigned age/disability group.

• Completes a comprehensive bio psychosocial assessment for each client.

• Completes all treatment planning requirements within established time frames

• Provides case management services to assigned clients

• Completes all documentation within established time frames

• Provides pyscho educational groups

• Maintains a current and valid NJ driver’s license

• Schedule monthly staff meetings.

• Documentation must be completed within one (1) calendar day of service delivery

• Productivity goals shall meet % as designated by department





Minimal Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in behavioral health field with NJ LCSW or NJ LPC licensure required.

Experience: Three (3) year supervisory experience required.





Equipment Use: Computer, facsimile, shredder, copier
