Clinical Product Sales Specialist (Central America & The Caribbean)

What Clinical Product Sales Specialist (CPSS) contributes to Cardinal Health
Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.

The role of CPSS at Cardinal Health is a pivotal one that provides additional value to our customers within the healthcare space.

The CPSS will be working closely with the sales representatives within their regions to strategically offer educational programs and support to drive additional revenue for the designated region (main support Central America & The Caribbean)

Scope: This territory contemplates 10 distributors, 4 in the US, 2 in Dominican Republic, 2 in Costa Rica, 1 in Panama and 1 in Guatemala.  The scope of responsibility is to oversee and support clinical education and sales for Central America and Caribbean region.
 

The ideal professional will be responsible for:

Will be responsible for achieving annual sales and profit objectives through the development, maintenance, and enhancement of key customer relationships.

Provide technical and professional expertise during the sales process, which may directly influence the following: the crafting of the sales proposal, the operational requirements or risk, the customer's willingness to buy Cardinal Health's solutions (Why CardinalHealth?), the timing (Why Now?), the customer's satisfaction, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

2-4 years of clinical education, product specialist or similar role

BSc in Life Sciences, Nursing, Clinical degree such as RN, NP, RPN/LPN, Health Sciences or closely related field

English and Spanish - advance fluency is a must - fully bilingual is highly preferred.

Experience and understanding of medical device industry

Familiarity with distribution model

Ability to create solid business relationships

Mastery in influential skills

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Travel requirements: 50%
