The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking physicians in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks for the San Luis Obispo and Atascadero community clinic sites. An M.D., D.O., or M.D., Ph.D. is required. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Oncology and/or Hematology. A California medical license is required. Teaching of medical students, residents, and/or fellows is required. Rank and salary is commensurate upon experience.
San Luis Obispo and Atascadero areas are located on California’s Central Coast, nestled halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, with close proximity to beautiful beaches, wine country, nature preserves, and Big Sur. Physicians will be joining a practice with four other hematologist/oncologists and call will be shared between providers. This clinic has a robust clinical trial program including access to on site phase I trials.
