Clinical Pharmacists play a critical role in the comprehensive treatment of patients at Cleveland Clinic. As you make a difference in the lives of patients, you will also have opportunities to enhance your skills, knowledge base and hands-on experience in an encouraging healthcare environment. **A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 6:30AM - 9:30PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered and evidence-based medication services. + Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. + Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. + Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards. + Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences. + Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy + Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire + Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or 2 years of relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Board certification Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
