Rotating - 12 Hour (United States of America)
Stanford opened a new state of the art hospital on November 17, 2019 with 20 additional operating rooms and 6 Hybrid/Cath lab suites. CVOR nursing (cardiac, thoracic, and vascular) supports a case load of approximately 4500 cases annually and service is growing each year. If you apply to this req your primary service is CVOR, you must be able to Circulate and or Scrub Complex Cardiac, Vascular (including hybrid) and Thoracic cases. For those without scrub experience you must be willing to learn. Minimum two years of CVOR experience in the last 5 years is required. Types of procedures include Heart, Lung and Heart Lung transplants, Ventricular assist devices for both destination therapy as well as bridge to transplant, VATS, Robotic thoracic cases, open thoracotomy, Fem-pop AAA, TAVRs as well as complex aortic repairs and a robust minimally invasive valve program. We are a level one trauma center with 24/7 service. There is a call requirement to this position as well.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Prefer BSN. Experience: Minimum of 2 years acute care Hospital Operating Room experience. Licensure/Certification: Current California RN License Current AHA Healthcare Provider BCLS certification. ACLS Certification and CNOR preferred
Highly Preferred: 2 years of scrub experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic as minimum.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $92.64 - $106.87 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
