Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Clinical Documentation Specialist
As a Clinical Integration Specialist at MercyOne, you will be responsible for supporting MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center wholly owned clinics in clinical process improvement initiatives. The Clinic Quality and Practice Leader collaborates in planning, implementing, and evaluating processes and projects related to professional clinic practice
**Schedule:**
+ Full time 40 hours a week
**General Requirements:**
+ Manages the dispersing of clinical information to clinic sites through a management structure of the Clinic Nursing Supervisors.
+ Meets individually, on a monthly with Clinic Nursing Supervisors to coach and mentor their clinical functions as a Nursing Supervisor as well as serving on various committees within the organization.
+ Leads the clinic nursing supervisors in their roles as representatives of Ambulatory Care on the Clinical Nursing Council.
+ Initiates, supports, and coordinates implementation and evaluation of short and long-term projects that impact clinical practice and support the strategic initiatives of MercyOne Clinics.
+ Facilitates the formation of multi-disciplinary teams to develop, implement and evaluate patient care programs and clinic practice standards, including policies, guidelines, procedures, and professional practice models and support processes across care settings using evidence-based practices within MercyOne Clinics.
+ Collaborates in the development of quality improvement programs including the
**Education:**
+ Baccalaureate degree in nursing required
+ Current license as a professional registered nurse in the State of Iowa.
+ A minimum of five years nursing in an ambulatory setting.
+ A minimum of two years of experience related to nursing administration or expanded clinical nursing roles preferred.
