Job Summary
The Clinical Informaticist will provide onsite and/or remote Ambulatory Medical Record (AMR) optimization, support and training. This role ensures providers and staff understand best practice workflows in alignment with CHS policies as well as enterprise initiatives. The Clinical Informaticist is the subject matter expert for athenaClinicals and will provide training, support and growth to the AMR Coordinators (Clinics) role in each market.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
College degree in healthcare field 1 year of athenaClinicals training and support experience. 1 year of experience in coordination and implementation of AMR, clinical workflow design or redesign. Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience working with multidisciplinary clinical teams and project teams. Experience using, implementing, optimizing, and/or supporting an AMR. Experience with report building as well as an understanding of HL7 interfaces and Health Information Exchange (HIE).Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge of the organization’s policies, procedures, systems, and objectives Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally Ability to work well with others in a dynamic environment.Licenses and Certifications
Preferred License/Registration/Certification: MA Certification, LPN Licensure, RN Licensure, athenaClinicals Certification
