Clinical Informatics AMR
Job Description

Job Summary

The Clinical Informaticist will provide onsite and/or remote Ambulatory Medical Record (AMR) optimization, support and training.  This role ensures providers and staff understand best practice workflows in alignment with CHS policies as well as enterprise initiatives.  The Clinical Informaticist is the subject matter expert for athenaClinicals and will provide training, support and growth to the AMR Coordinators (Clinics) role in each market.

Essential Functions

Accountable for onsite training, support and optimization while promoting standard utilization and best practice workflows that are in alignment with enterprise expectations and policy. Able to provide group training sessions either on site or remotely with a level of expertise found in the subject matter expert.  This role will use appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instructions, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, presentations, simulation exercises, role-play, and computer based training. Understands best practice workflows required to meet Regulatory/Quality thresholds.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     This role will be able to provide support and act as a mentor to the AMR Coordinators Clinics.  This will include remote and/or onsite meetings to communicate AMR changes or significant AMR related information and assist with troubleshooting.  As appropriate, this role will amend the athenaClinicals build when needed to ensure continuity of care during a go live. Able to utilize data analytics from the AMR to promote efficiency and increase productivity. Shares in the troubleshooting and support of the Clinical Informatics email inbox. Collaborates and communicates closely with all business partners and internal teams during on site go live support. Travel Requirements: Up to 80% Responsible for all other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

College degree in healthcare field 1 year of athenaClinicals training and support experience.  1 year of experience in coordination and implementation of AMR, clinical workflow design or redesign. Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience working with multidisciplinary clinical teams and project teams. Experience using, implementing, optimizing, and/or supporting an AMR. Experience with report building as well as an understanding of HL7 interfaces and Health Information Exchange (HIE).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge of the organization’s policies, procedures, systems, and objectives Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally Ability to work well with others in a dynamic environment.

Licenses and Certifications

Preferred License/Registration/Certification: MA Certification, LPN Licensure, RN Licensure, athenaClinicals Certification
