NYU College of Dentistry seeks a dedicated full-time faculty member for a full time five days clinical (non-tenure) track faculty based on credentials and teaching experience to join our predoctoral education team in the preclinical simulation laboratory. This position focuses on teaching foundational clinical skills to dental students using state-of-the-art simulation technology and hands-on instruction in preparation for patient care. The position is dedicated 80% time to the simulation laboratory and 20% time to professional development . Key responsibilities include: + Instruct predoctoral dental students in preclinical simulation laboratory courses + Provide direct chairside instruction and evaluation of student performance + Assess student competency through practical examinations and skill evaluations + Mentor students in developing proper ergonomics, infection control, and clinical techniques + Participate in curriculum development and educational innovation initiatives + Collaborate with faculty colleagues in interdisciplinary education + Contribute to faculty meetings, committees, and institutional service + Other related duties as required In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position for the rank of Clinical Instructor is $80K - $120K & for the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor is $90K - $140K.
