Job Summary: Provides safe and effective rehabilitation programs for the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program. Provide services for Cardiac and Pulmonary exercise programs per professional standards and legal and regulatory guidelines. Supervise, conduct, and interpret pre- / post-graded exercise testing and 6-minute walk tests. Document patient care, including individualized exercise prescriptions for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients. Oversee cardiac and pulmonary exercise sessions and educate cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients on safe and effective exercise. Communicate patient outcomes, and clinical needs to other medical rehab team members, physicians, and other customers
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science required. Master’s degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology preferred. A Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ASCM R-CEP) by the American College of Sports Medicine is required. Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Certification Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association are required.
