Shift : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Location : 2600 Westhall Lane, Maitland, FL / travel throughout Central FL as needed

More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.

The role youll contribute:
Under the direction of the Executive Director Clinical Excellence and Education serves as the Director of Clinical Excellence Education and Training and is part of the clinical leadership team that develops the strategy to support goals.The Director of Clinical Excellence Education and Training partners with and provides clinical leadership,coaching, mentoring and direction to the clinical education team. The Director provides collaborative leadership across AdventHealth as it relates to aligning education and clinical process. Responsible for administrative oversight of Clinical Excellence Education and Training - development and implementation - as it relates to the staff and providers. This person leads teams across the organization in creating and operationalizing highly effective processes that promotes standardization in patient care, promote safe, high-quality care and assures initiatives and activities meet the rules and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

Collaborates with administrators, providers, and clinical team members to design, educate and train processes that improve quality of care
Provides collaborative leadership through committees to ensure alignment of strategic objectives and training outcomes
Works in a matrixed relationship across AdventHealth regarding cross-continuum goals and training outcomes to ensure seamless care for AdventHealth consumers.
Direct managerial oversight for accountable departments in strategic planning, assessment, program implementation, and training to improve operational processes, healthcare outcomes and financial performance.
Provides leadership oversight for academic affiliation agreements, student eligibility and rotations schedules for clinical staff.
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
Master of Science in Nursing
FL Registered Nurse (RN)
Three to five years of clinical experience
Teaching experience in formal/informal setting
5 years of leadership experience
Preferred qualifications:
experience as a Nurse Educator
Nursing Professional Development certification
