Job Overview:

RWJBH is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for our Emergency Department areas at the New Brunswick campus.

Qualifications:

Required:

BSNAt least 5 years of sound Emergency Room Level 1 Trauma Center  experience National certification for clinical specialty Strong communication, organizational skills, and presentation skillsProficient computer skills

Preferred:

MSN or must be enrolled in MSN program nearing completion

Certifications and Licenses Required:

BLS and ACLS CertificationActive New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Scheduling Requirements:

Day ShiftMonday – Friday with some weekend commitment requiredFT

Essential Functions:

Plan and design orientation plan, develop and provide continuing education, provide in-service programs in accordance with the requirements of NJ Board of Nursing current regulatory guidelines the Code of Ethics and institutional guidelinesImplement and evaluate educational activities/programs for the dedicated orientees Develop and maintain employee recordsServe as a resource person for education and promoted education in the Nursing DivisionResponsible for maintaining competencies as required by regulatory agenciesCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and deliver education to ensure quality and best practice
